WHY STUDENTS JOIN OUR PROGRAMME
SME property development firms provide a more hands-on and collaborative environment, allowing interns to work closely with property developers and gain exposure to various aspects of delivering projects. Interns are given the opportunity to take on responsibilities, hone specific skills and make a significant impact on projects, making it a rewarding and enriching experience for students looking to kickstart their careers in real estate development.
The programme also enables them to apply theoretical knowledge acquired from their university studies to real-world challenges, thereby enhancing their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Students who complete the programme can expect to gain a competitive edge in the industry and accelerate their career growth in the real estate sector.
WHY UNIVERSITIES COLLABORATE WITH US
Having worked closely with universities and students to bring together our internship programme, it has been designed to ensure it is inclusive and provides tangible outcomes. This has been achieved by ensuring all participating students receive fair remuneration for their time (minimum wage or more) and employers being required to follow a structured format with objectives being established at the start and periodic reviews for feedback. We understand the significance of compensating interns for their efforts, and by joining our internship programme, they not only gain valuable experience and skills, but also receive appropriate pay for their time and commitment.
In addition to the above, we are uniquely in a position to offer opportunities in various locations throughout the UK. Interns can choose from a selection of start dates in May, June or July, with internship durations ranging from 4, 8 or 12 weeks. Inline with the key real estate topics being taught at universities, the focus areas of the internship include land buying, investment analysis, planning, design, quantity surveying and development management. Lastly, we offer interns experience across a number of the industry sectors, to include build to sell, build to rent, social housing, and student housing.
